-To Sura Malaga.
 
Beginning my work in art galleries at 17 lead to a long time career in the arts managing galleries in NJ and NY.  In that capacity I had the opportunity to be involved in a charity show house at Bayonet Farms where I met designer Sura Malaga.  A friendship developed into a professional collaboration where I began servicing her design clients with art.    In 1996 Sura suggested and encouraged me, at the age of 29, to open my own gallery and offered me a small space in her design office which was then housed in the old church in Holmdel village.   Her faith in my ability lead to the opportunity for James Yarosh Associates Fine Art Gallery to begin.



Over the past 16 years, we both grew our two businesses to national recognition while sharing a home on East Main Street, Holmdel and worked together on many projects along the way. From the beginning Sura's self-assuredness and confidence in me allowed us to team up to use our business synergy to both our advantages.   From branding her building which contained my gallery space as the Design & Fine Arts building, creating a NYC presence with a pied a terre on Sutton Place and appearing together on HGTV it has been a long and successful friendship.  I would be remiss not offer a special thank-you to my friend Sura for allowing us to champion each other while I hosted countless art shows and promoted our work together she included me in her numerous design projects some of which were 20,000+ square foot new residential construction projects to provide art, assist when enlisted and grow.  



So to Sura, for even just the knowing there must always be time to stop for Starbucks on the parkway on our early morning trips into NYC for marathon days regardless of how late we ran  to help aid the fact that  "James wakes up slowly" so we could deliver later to know it's the simple things that help make a business relationship great.
