Stanislov Brusilov- Recognized early in life as a gifted artist, Brusilov began studies at Moscow Academic Art Lyceum at the age of nine. The artist successfully advanced his schooling and was chosen to study for six years in the studio of VN Zabelin at the Surikov in Moscow. Now a successful artist, Brusilov has chosen to continue his studies at the Russian Academy of Art under the direction of the academicians, the Tkachev brothers. There, Brusilov developed complex paintings including large multi-figured compositions with the 80 year old maters. In fall of 2004 Brusilov took part and was cataloged in a group exhibition at the Tretiakov Gallery, Russia’s greatest Art Museum. |
