Joshua Gabriel is an artist-musician-performer based in the Brooklyn, NY. Born and raised in Philadelphia, jG received his BFA from the Tyler School of Art, majoring in graphic design. His visual art has been exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and is based around his intricate line-work, most of which is produced via automatic drawing. Recently jG's artwork has been published in "The Brooklyn Review" and the literary arts journal "Gigantic Sequins". Musically speaking jG has been recording and performing in several different guises (turntablist, guitar singer/songwriter, beatmaker) since 1998, self-releasing 4 albums, 3 Eps, and 4DJ mixtapes.
